Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Critical Theory/Current Topics

Almost all of my exposure to critical theory has been through the "new musicology" so I may be overestimating its important, but I'm guessing that "new" musicology should get some sort of listing, probably under cultural studies, unless it is not a big enough blip on the critical theory radar. Similarly, Susan McClary doesn't fit so neatly under gender studies as only her first book (Feminine Endings) is limited to gender. She is by far the most famous "new" musicologist, the top three probably including Lawrence Kramer and Rose Rosengard Subotnick, probably the only one worth listing, and should be listed even if new musicology isn't. Also, McClary bases a good deal of her work on analyzing narratives (a la Lauretis), yet I find no mention of narrative or narratology on Wikipedia:Critical Theory basic topics or this page. I'd almost have new musicology be its own category. That said, were it to be its own category, I'd like it to have an article separate from musicology. You mind writing it? =) As for narratology, hm.
