[edit]I think the book is awsome! I am reading it as a part of my grade 8 literature class. But sometimes, I need to read some passages twice to remember them.--69.158.117.35 14:04, 30 Dec 2004 (UTC)Imad
There is no country called Holland. Holland is only a small part of the Netherlands. I was going to change it, but maybe the book uses the therm Holland. In that case it should stay "Holland", but it makes me sad. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.92.175.706 (talk) 19:52, February 2007
The book specifies Holland and the city they go to is The Hague, which I understand is located in Holland itself. Dabbler 20:19, 6 February 2007 (UTC)
If no one has any objections, I would like to completely rework this entry. There are numerous grammar issues, not to mention a few plot inaccuracies. I'll check back in a few weeks to see if anyone has posted a reply; if not, then I'll go ahead and rewrite this entry while trying to stay true to what has already been written. 62.49.23.229 19:47, 26 February 2007 (UTC)A Former Editor
- If you can improve the article please go ahead. After all people can always revert if you do make it worse (which I do not expect will be the case). Dabbler 21:20, 26 February 2007 (UTC)
When you re-edit it, put a plot-spoiler notice in please.
Publication details
[edit]The pub info states paperback and hardback and gives the original pub date and a certain number of pages. I wonder if this isn't a misleading conflation. Was it a pb and a hb in the 19th c? My copy is a Penguin Popular Classics edition pb with the text on pp. 11~247 (unnumbered page one is a bio cum ad; p. 2 is blank; after p. 247, there are some blank pages and three pages of Penguin titles.)
