Re: Sunshade
Original research. Unlesss somebody can give us some idea as to some scientists who are actually proposing this? RickK 23:23, Jul 11, 2004 (UTC)
- The idea isn't made up, though I know not the accuracy of the details presented in that article. The idea of an orbiting sunshade is mentioned in this CBS News article. Spectatrix 00:18, 2004 Jul 12 (UTC)
- Keep. It's a legitimate concept and is hardly novel or original research. The space elevator is also not rubbish - NASA is funding research into that. Jamesday 04:31, 12 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Current article correctly describes this as a concept proposed by science fiction writers and futurists. Article could be broadened (and maybe moved to a less ambiguous title), but that's an issue for Cleanup. Rossami 15:21, 12 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Keep - has a long history in fiction. - Tεxτurε 17:52, 12 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, but it desperately needs renaming. I can get a sunshade for $1.49 to keep my car cool. Geogre 18:32, 12 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Although it does need a few references/links, a renaming, maybe some toning down of the POV.
- Keep. Seems totally fine with me. I would like to sunshade ideas for telescopes, see [New Worlds Imager]. That's how I found the article but their was no disambiguation
