Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:
- The Five Pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Editing, policy, conduct, and structure tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
- If you're ready for the complete list of Wikipedia documentation, there's also Wikipedia:Topical index.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome! - UtherSRG 03:09, Jun 2, 2005 (UTC)
requested move
[edit]Hi - Is your entry on Wikipedia:Requested_moves really requesting moving A&E Network or some other article? I assume the request is to move A&E Network (since A&E Networks doesn't exist), but isn't this article mostly about the A&E channel rather than the parent company? Can you edit your move request appropriately? Thanks. -- Rick Block (talk) 21:50, Jun 2, 2005 (UTC)
The History Channel
[edit]When you renamed the links from [[History Channel]] to [[History Channel|The History Channel]], you neglected to remove the already existing "the". Please visit all the pages you edited and remove this extra "the" as I have done so for Mail Call and Modern Marvels since they are on my watchlist.
Also, please keep external links to their respective pages. For example, the link to the History Channel website belongs on only History Channel and show links belong on the show pages only. Cburnett 05:38, Jun 5, 2005 (UTC)
