[edit]Added some photos of Peng Chau I took in June 2004. I will be adding more information later on as I am an ex-resident (I left at the age of 8!) of the island and is currently living in Vancouver, Canada. AnimeEd
i kind of disagree with the statement: "It is notable for its sizable Filipina population of immigrant workers..." and is upset that this is what the island is known for since i find it to be false. So i think i'll go ahead and remove it.
Typo
[edit]"Inslet" isn't an English word. It's probably supposed to be "Islet", but I guess it could be "Inlet". Could someone with knowledge of the island and/or language confirm? Triskaideka 14:49, 20 Jul 2004 (UTC)
- translator said it means continent, which i'm sure the word is not limited to AnimeEd
- I made that typo. It's supposed to be "islet" (small island). Chao could mean "continent" in other contexts. --Menchi 11:06, 17 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Cool, thank you. —Triskaideka 19:22, 17 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Flat Islet?
[edit]I'm not sure that the 坪 means flat, because 平 does. I'm deleting the translation of the island's name until someone comes up with something better.
