While Wikipedia:Manual of Style for Japan-related articles does advocate for macrons, as shown by this: http://www.fushigiyugidvd.com/eikoden/index.htm - Fushigi Yugi with a circumflex is the official spelling. Therefore, official spelling wins over general convention.
This is also the case with Shonen Jump manga. WhisperToMe 13:06, 4 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Discordian Calendar
[edit]As we are, of course, both Discordian Popes, shall we set the calendar schism in place by both making papal pronouncements, I that the calendar is Julian, you that it is Gregorian? Best wishes. Jess Cully 02:52, 5 August 2005 (UTC)

No? :-) (above is by User:Lulu of the Lotus-Eaters)
- Mathematically it's certainly the case that "Discordianism was founded in either 23 BCE, 1958, or 1959" or that "Wikipedia is either an online encyclopedia or a dessert topping". But the implication, in English, is that all such options are equally likely, or at least that all of them have unknown truth values. DenisMoskowitz 20:53, 2005 September 11 (UTC)

Matthew Sweet
[edit]It's been a well-kept secret, but if you look up the Lincoln, Nebraska public records on Matthew Sweet, you WILL find that his real first name is in fact Sydney. He also has made this known to fans and has used it as a nickname on his collaboration album with Susanna Hoffs of the Bangles fame, on which they call themselves "Sid n Susie". I had also attached a bio external link to help support my claim that Sydney was his first name in case someone like yourself came along and changed it. In fact, I'll even GIVE you the most verifiable link. Please don't remove it after this.

Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
[edit]SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 15:47, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Irritability (webcomic)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Irritability (webcomic), requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 18:08, 29 April 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of All rights reversed
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on All rights reversed requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Proposed deletion of All rights reversed
[edit]The article All rights reversed has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- not much significance also there is already a copyleft article
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Jonnymoon96 (talk) 18:39, 2 February 2017 (UTC)
