Instruments, Subjective comment

[edit]

I changed the abbriviated insturment/vocals designation to the full words and ommited the phrase "The Mr. Big Band is very good." because it's subjective. MardukZero 18:51, 2 Feb 2005 (UTC)

WikiProject Japan

[edit]

Does this article belong to WikiProject Japan just because the band was successful there? I would have thought that only applied to Japanese bands. Tocharianne 16:25, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. I've gone ahead and removed {{WikiProject Japan}}. --朝彦 (Asahiko) 05:27, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Undemised?

[edit]

IN a very strange turn of events, my wife and I were just driving the outskirts of Quesnel, BC, Canada...and at one of the local small pubs it says that Mr. Big was there on Saturday (haven't changed the sign yet). Has someone bought out their name, or have some members gone on touring with it? --Kickstart70-T-C 01:47, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Mr Big - Get Over It.jpg

[edit]

Image:Mr Big - Get Over It.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Genre

[edit]

I have removed the cock rock refrence as it is opinionated and does not add to the article's neutrality. Stating that the band draw from different genres such as Pop, Glam Metal, etc. would be more useful. Also, the term cock rock can be deemed offensive and I doubt it was put in the article in good faith. —Preceding unsigned comment added by GWHumes (talkcontribs) 17:48, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the 'hard rock' genre references, as they seem very difficult to objectively support, and replaced them with 'pop rock' throughout. (Agree with the above commenter that 'cock rock' is also a dubious classification, although it is a legitimate genre and shouldn't be censored as offensive.) The genre classification would be improved with some supporting research. Helenabella (talk) 01:18, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Missing album

[edit]

There was a Bump Ahead Tour Live in Japan album that is not listed in the discography. ( http://www.spirit-of-metal.com/album-groupe-Mr_Big-nom_album-Bump_Ahead_*_Live_in_Japan-l-en.html ) I'm having a very hard time finding much information about it, though. 98.201.116.142 (talk) 20:58, 3 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
