User talk:Hyrarchy
Greetings! I noticed you've been doing a lot of work on Hyrarchy; I'm going to guess from your username that it's your band. Wikipedia is not a promo site or a general knowledge base for every band in the world: bands must be notable to merit an entry in Wikipedia, and these are the usual guidelines for determining whether an article on a musician or group should be kept. Why don't you stick this article on your user page instead? It will still be indexed by Google there. Let me know if you do this and I can remove it from the main article space. If you disagree and think it should be kept, I will list it on the votes for deletion page where the community can debate about whether it should be kept. I notice that the article itself is decent otherwise—why don't you expand some of the articles on your influences and favorite bands? A lot of the music articles could use some expansion. - I got no response from you, and it still doesn't appear to meet the guidelines, so I have listed it here. You can state why you wish it to be kept on that page, if you like. Mindspillage (spill yours?) 15:25, 21 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Don't blank Wikipedia articles. What part of "Please do not remove or deface this notice or blank, merge, or move this article while the discussion is in progress" do you not understand? RickK 22:56, Apr 21, 2005 (UTC)
