Laws

[edit]

Laws in Scotland are different from those of England and Wales which in turn are different again from the laws of Northern Ireland.

E.g. in England a defendant can be found either Guilty or Not Guilty. In Scotland a defendent can be either Guilty, not Guilty or Not proven.

The idea of UK legislation is misleading as there really isn't such a thing.

Have a look at Scots Law if you don't know what I am talking about. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.128.213.242 (talkcontribs) 19:02, 18 March 2005
