[edit]I've heard that ICE is the largest law enforcement agency in the world in terms of personnel. Anyone know if that's true or have a reference for that? - Walkiped 14:40, 6 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- It "employs more than 20,000 people" (which suggests not a huge number more than 20,000), so no it's not (and that figure's correct - it comes from the ICE's own website). A number of police agencies employ far more people than that. London's Metropolitan Police employs c.29,000 police officers, for instance (not including civilian staff), and the New York City Police Department employs c.40,000 police officers. -- Necrothesp 20:07, 6 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- So ICE isn't even close. Thanks for checking it out. - Walkiped 21:23, 6 Nov 2004 (UTC)
