Magnum Opus

[edit]

According to Wikipedia, all three Opeth albums "My Arms, Your Hearse", "Still Life", and "Blackwater Park" are widely considered to be the band's magnum opus. Obviously that doesn't make much sense. Perhaps they should be changed to say "like other Opeth albums, this album received universal praise" or something along those lines? DarkSinisity (talk) 03:59, 25 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A thought on the main character

[edit]

Could the ghost perhaps be unaware of being incorporeal? After all, on "Karma," he hits a point of realization...Mikael Åkerfeldt's scream there is highly representative of this. Just my own thought.

Actually, Mikael has explicitly stated that this is the case. He compared the story of the album to the story in The Sixth Sense and says the character has died, but doesn't realize it.

Release

[edit]

If you read the Opeth Website the only album that is mentioned for a delayed release was Orchid. That means MAYH wasn't release a year later like Orchid did. M4pnt (talk) 04:52, 14 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
