Moving this to Talk: Seems rather irrelevant, not cited: "The Gay Pride Parade attracted more that 1.8 million more people, than the third annual [Black Awareness] march at Avenida Paulista, gathering only 12,000 people." -- Writtenonsand (talk)
This article was created by editor CCFSDCA. At the time of creation, it used wording which was copyrighted by Christopher Corbett-Fiacco. Wikimedia requested a permission statement from the copyright holder, which was provided. However, that permission statement did not match the requirements of Wikimedia, although that was not noticed at the time. As part of a cleanup of incorrect tags, the issue was noticed. I contacted Christopher Corbett-Fiacco, who declined to accept the permission language required. Consequently, I have removed the language originally used. This means that the opening sections of the article will have some shortcomings. I urge other editors to fill in the missing history using their own words and reliable sources.
