[edit]The claim about Rudzutak as a possible replacement for Stalin is from chapter 29 of the memoirs of Anastas Mikoyan, available at [1]. Andris 01:29, Sep 26, 2004 (UTC)
Name controversy
[edit]Jānis Rudzutaks is Latvian, so I suppose his name should be transcribed to English directly from Latvian, resulting in Jānis Rudzutaks or Janis Rudzutaks. Yan Rudzutak is a form only possible if transcribed back from Russian. This would involve changing the address of the page. -- Avellano (talk) 04:43, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
- Since there were no other opinions for 2 weeks, I moved the page to Jānis Rudzutaks. --Avellano (talk) 02:02, 14 August 2010 (UTC)
