"SG" or "secretary-general"?
[edit]I saw mixed usage of one and the other in the page, for readability, I changed it to 'secretary-general'. Should we use SG instead of secretary-general in paragraphs? In Powers and duties, there's quite a lot of "secretary-general" going around, could we all shorten that to SG within the context of this article? Shadowjonathan (talk) 10:20, 7 January 2021 (UTC)
- I realize it's been a couple years since you asked this question, but to answer it, personally I don't think spelling it out "secretary-general" sounds that clunky, but if you think otherwise, I have no loud objections to switching it to "SG". Be WP:BOLD! Mz7 (talk) 09:06, 26 March 2023 (UTC)
Map of nationalities of Secretary-Generals
[edit]The map of nationalities of Secretary-Generals at the bottom of this article is wrong, but I don't know how to correct it. Austria should be colored in, because Kurt Waldheim was Austrian. 108.21.213.18 (talk) 18:15, 24 September 2024 (UTC)
- I conqur. Techncially also UK should be coloured because of the first acting secretary. 90.176.211.82 (talk) 14:16, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
